BSi Steel Gauteng was originally known as the company Garrison Steel that was incorporated as a close corporation, and converted to a private company on 21 September 2001.

Garrison Steel showed rapid growth as a JIT steel service industry, and in April 2007 there was an aggressive restructuring process which saw the conversion of all subsidiaries and associated companies into wholly owned subsidiaries.

The minority shareholders within BSi Gauteng were converted to shareholders within the holding company BSi Steel.

Through the restructure BSi Steel became the holding company of Garrison Steel and as a result Garrison fell under the BSi Steel brand as a new brand called BSi Steel Gauteng.

BSi Steel Gauteng’s team drives sustainable growth in the highly competitive steel market; it is with our enthusiastic sales and administration team that we focus on efficient service delivery as a steel trading division of BSi Steel.
